PURPOSE: To improve the luminance and saturation of toner powder by forming each particle of the toner powder from a magnetically attractable material, wrapped with a colored substance or finely dispersed in the colored substance consisting of a thermoplastic resin and a coloring material. CONSTITUTION: Each particle of magnetic toner powder is formed from a magnetically attractable material wrapped with a colored substance or finely dispersed in the colored substance contg. a thermoplastic resin and a coloring material contg. a yellow fluorescent dye. The standard compsn. of the colored substance consists of 20wt.% TiO2 , 80wt.% thermoplastic resin and such an amt. of the dye that the max. fluorescence is observed. Since 15% light reflectance in the wavelength range of 400-450nm and 120% light reflectance, lightness of 90 and saturation of 90 at a fluorescent peak in the wavelength range of 500-580nm are imparted, the objective toner powder having high luminance and saturation is obtd. |
