PURPOSE:To reduce the number of transmission lines, by transmitting address signals and data signals in time division. CONSTITUTION:When remote control is to be executed by coupling a remote control unit 1 with a receiving part 2 of a VTR, a stop data (0000) is generated from a stop data generating circuit 5 and an address signal (0000) indicating the address to write the stop data is outputted from an address signal generating circuit 14 by depressing a stop mode switch for example. A clock signal generator 13 alternately outputs low level (L) and high level (H) signals, and on the basis of the clock signals, a multiplexer 15 connects the circuit 14 with an outpt terminal 16 during the L period and connects also the output line of a data signal generating part 12 during the H period. Thus the address signals and data signals are transmitted by a 4-bit signal transmission line 3 in time division in synchronization with the clock signal. |
