PURPOSE:To protect a water pipe, a hot water pipe, a gas pipe, and their block valves against oily smoke and flame, and to provide ease of operating the block valves, by comprising a cover provided with an operating hole on its front plate and a lid of the operating hole, attaching the upper part of the cover on the back face of a range hood, and operating the block valves on the water and gas pipes through the operating hole. CONSTITUTION:The upper part of a pipe cover is attached by screws on the back face of a range hood provided with a built-in hot water supply apparatus. The pipe cover consists of an upper cover 2, a lower cover 7, and a lid 4 that opens and closes an operating hole 3. The front cover 2 is comprised of left and right side plates 2a, and a front plate 2b, formed into a U-shape, and provided with the operating hole 3 on the front plate 2b. The lower cover 7 is fitted free to slide up and down along the upper cover 2. As the pipe cover is extended or shortened by sliding up or down the lower cover 7 so as to wholly cover pipes 10, 11, and 12, the pipes 10, 11, and 12, and the block valves 13 and 14 are protected against oily smoke and flame generated from stoves. When the hot water supply apparatus is used, the lid 4 is opened and the block valve 13 and 14 are operated through the operating hole 3. |
