PURPOSE:To reduce the min. optical density of a picture, and to lessen the tendency for generating a stain, and to improve the shelf-life of the material by incorporating a specified compd. in the subject material. CONSTITUTION:At least a photosensitive silver halide, a reducing agent, a pigment supplying substance and a binder are incorporated in the photographic constituting layer of the photosensitive material. The compd. shown by formula I is incorporated in at least one layer of the photographic constituting layers. In the formula, R<1>-R<4> are each alkyl or aryl, etc., M<+> is an alkaline metal ion. The concrete example of the compd. shown by the formula is exemplified by a compd. shown by formula II, etc., and the compd. may be incorporated in the protective layer, etc. of the material. Preferably, the compds. shown by the formulas are also incorporated in the picture receiving layer contg. in the picture receiving material which is transferred a pigment image from the photosensitive material. |
