PURPOSE:To provide a simple and effective hydraulic damper, in which generation of cabitation is prevented, by forming a flow path to put an upper and a lower oil chamber in communication with each other in such a way as inclined to the plate surface of an elastic valve so that the outlet from the flow path is directed to the free end of elastic valve. CONSTITUTION:When a compressive load in the axial direction is applied to a damper, downward motion of a piston 5 is started, wherein the sinking speed is controlled appropriately by the damping force generated by the resistance of flow path at an orifice and No.1 outlet 9a from flow path. Therein the flowing direction of the oil from the outlet 9a from No.1 flow path 9 is changed to the free end of No.1 elastic valve 11 having less flow path resistance, wherein the changing is made gradually along No.1 elastic valve 11 because the outlet 9a is arranged inclined to the plate surface of No.1 elastic valve 11 toward the free end of No.1 elastic valve 11. Therefore, the flow of the oil is smooth, which should prevent cabitation. |
