PURPOSE:To enable to enhance fatigue resistance of an outside layer reinforcing fabric, by a method wherein an outside layer reinforcing fabric has a woven construction such as plain weave and a tension at 10% elongation in the longitudinal direction of not higher than 40kg/cm, in an endless track shoe comprised of a rubber with tensile strength core body embedded therein. CONSTITUTION:The outside layer reinforcing fabric 8a located on the outside of a neutral axis of a main body 1 has a firm plain weave construction, and to reduce the flexural stiffness of the main body 1 which consists of a rubber or the like, the tension at 10% elongation in the longitudinal direction of the fabric 8a is set to be not higher than 40kg/cm. To protect an inside layer reinforcing fabric 8b from damage due to rolling of a track sprocket or the like, the fabric 8b is covered by a rubber material resistant to abrasion and low temperatures, and driving projections 5 are provided on the rubber material. To reduce hysteresis loss in compressive deformation, the l upke coefficient of restitution resilience of the rubber material is set to be not lower than 40%. Accordingly, the fatigue resistance of the outside layer reinforcing fabric 8a is enhanced, the force for pressing a transverse stiff member 9 against the sprocket or the like is reduced, the durability of the tensile strength core body 7 can be enhanced, and power consumption of the track can be reduced. |
