PURPOSE:To improve the good appearance of an indoor device in its external appearance by providing freely interlockingly a plurality of louvers, which adjust the flow direction of conditioning air, on an outlet grille and providing a louver mechanism for almost entirely closing the outlet grille by these louvers. CONSTITUTION:When the operation of an air conditioner is stopped, the turning angle of a step motor 23 is controlled by a motor controller for detecting an operational mode, and a fore louver 21 fixed to the output shaft of the step motor 23 is inclined in a state that the front end of the fore louver 21 assumes an angle to rise up a little from its horizontal direction so that the bottom surface of the fore louver becomes in a alignment with the front surface of the opening of an outlet grille 4. The turning of the fore louver 21 is transmitted to an aft louver 22 via a connecting rod 24a, whereby the aft louver 22 is turned in a substantially horizontal direction so that the bottom surface of the aft louver 22 becomes in alignment with the bottom surface of the opening of the outlet grille 4. Thereby, the top end of the aft louver 22 is lapped on the lower surface of the rear end of the fore louver 21, and the opening of the outlet grille 4 is almost entirely closed by the fore and aft louvers 21 and 22. Accordingly, the interior of an indoor device 1 can be seen through the opening of the outlet grille 4, and the good appearance of the same can be prevented from being spoiled. |
