PURPOSE:To reduce the burden of a maintenance crew and to shorten maintenance work time by successively notifying a maintenance procedure from a device to a maintenance crew to execute the maintenance work such as the expansion or reduction of hardware and software. CONSTITUTION:Data to indicate the maintenance work procedure prepared beforehand by a data base 3 of a maintenance procedure notifying part 1 added to a maintenance device is stored, the corresponding data from the data base 3 is read by a control part 2 caused by the request from the maintenance crew. Further thereafter, according to an input from the maintenance crew and a response from processors 7 and 8, the corresponding maintenance procedures are successively determined, read from the data base 3, and notified to the maintenance crew. Thus, the burden of the maintenance crew is decreased, and the maintenance work time can be shortened. |
