PURPOSE:To improve safety, to be used for heat insulating takeout food by incorporating a heat storage material made of mixture of urea as a main ingredi ent, polyvalent alcohols, water or ammonium nitrate in a sealed vessel or a bag. CONSTITUTION:Pure materials of urea and ammonium nitrate have 132.7 and 165 deg.C, are solid and of low toxic compounds. Polyvalent alcohols include ethylene glycol, propylene, glycol, glycerin, etc. Food heat insulator contains 0-20pts. of water per 100pts. of urea, 0-40pts. of mixture of polyvalent alcohols and ammonium nitrate per 100pts. of urea, or 0-40pts. of mixture of water, polyvalent alcohols, ammonium nitrate to be contained and sealed in a heat resistant water resistant vessel or bag of metal, resin, etc. This food heat insulator is contained in advance in a constant-temperature oven of higher temperature than the melt ing point of a heat storage material composition to be melted, and mounted in a food vessel or adjacent to hot food out of the vessel. Thus, the food can be maintained at a predetermined temperature for a predetermined period of time. |
