PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of a fail-safe by prohibiting the adjustment of height when the height does not reach a target value even when a certain time elapsed after driving an actuator, and removing the prohibition when the height is changed above a defined value after the prohibition. CONSTITUTION:An electric control device 52 controls a motor 36 and a plurality of electromagnetic closing valves 42-50 based on the inputs of a height sensor 56 and a height setting switch 58. Thereupon, the air which is pressurized by a compressor 38 is selectively fed/discharged to/from air springs 10-16 provided on front/rear and right/left wheels respectively via a drier 26, to highly or lowly control the vehicle height. In this case, if the height does not reach a target value even when a certain time elapsed after drivingly controlling the motor 36, the adjustment of the height is prohibited. After prohibiting the height adjustment, when the height is changed above a defined value in the direction of approaching the target value, the prohibition of height adjustment is removed. |
