PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of a reflecting film and to improve the long-term reliability of the optical disk memory by forming a film consisting of carbon or essentially consisting of the carbon in tight contact with the reflecting film. CONSTITUTION:The film 24 consisting of the carbon or essentially consisting of the carbon is formed in tight contact with the reflecting film 23 of the optical disk memory having a substrate 21, the reflecting film 23 and a protective film 25. The adsorption of the moisture and oxygen, etc. in the atm. air is prevented at the time of forming the protective film by forming the film consisting of the carbon or essentially consisting of the carbon as the reflecting film of the optical disk memory in such a manner; in addition, the deterioration of the protective film by diffusion of the water from the protective film to the reflecting film is prevented. The long-term reliability of the optical disk memory is inexpensively enhanced in this way and the workability is improved. |
