发明名称 FAILSAFE MECHANISM OF BELT TYPE CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION
摘要 PURPOSE:To accomplish failsafe by engaging a clutch in the event of belt severance or enlargement of slip to cause the speed change ratio of a belt type continuous transmission to lie outside a specified extent, and performing transmitting via a power transmitting member. CONSTITUTION:When severance of a belt MC or enlargement of its slip has caused the ratio of the revolving speed of an input shaft MA of a belt type continuous transmission MD to that of its output shaft MB, i.e. speed change ratio, to lie outside of the specified range, it is sensed by a speed change ratio sensing means MG, and according to signal therefrom a clutch engaging means MH engages a clutch MF. Accordingly transmitting of power between the input shaft MA and output shaft MB is made detouring the belt MC, i.e. via a power transmitting member ME with the clutch MF interposed. Thus the failsafe function of belt type continuous transmission is enhanced.
