PURPOSE:To ensure the checking of the function of an equal velocity coupling by inclining an inner member, imparting a rotary driving force to the outer member of the equal velocity coupling, detecting the change in rotary torque at this time, and judging the pass or fail of the equal velocity coupling. CONSTITUTION:A driving device 4 is made to be in an orthogonally crossed state. An equal velocity coupling X is held with a bearing 2a of an outer holding means 2. Then a lifting cylinder 23 is driven. A driving shaft 3 is engaged with the spline of the coupling X. Then, a motor is driven, and a torque meter 8 and the shaft 3 are rotated. Thereafter, an inclining cylinder 34 of a parallel link device 7 is compressed, and moving links 29 and 30 are moved around supporting shafts 5 and 6. Thus the device 4 is inclined. At this time, the positions of the inclining centers O and O' of the device 7 and the coupling X are deviated. The centers are made to follow and inclined by the movement of the shaft 3 with a floating holder 10. During the inclination, confirmation of the number of balls in the coupling X and the change in rotary torque during the inclination of the shaft 3 are detected with each sensor and the meter 8. The quality of the coupling X is judged with a control device. |
