PURPOSE:To prevent miscopying by using a numeral which decreases from total page number data as an initial value as page data when the total page number data is generated while a page mode is set, and a numeral which increases from 1 as the initial value as the page data when the total page number data is not generated. CONSTITUTION:When the total page number data is supplied in page data imprinting mode, the numeral which decreases from the total number of pages every time unit copy operation is completed is used as the page data. When the total page number data is not supplied, the numeral which increases from 1 every time the unit copy operation is finished is used as the page data. Namely, a method which changes the page data is determined according to whether or not the total number of pages is exceeded. Consequently, there are two kinds of methods for setting the numeral of page data to be imprinted, so miscopying which easily occurs can be prevented. |
