PURPOSE:To remarkably simplify the system generation by obtaining individual information of a constitution apparatus at the time of generating a system by setting the information to the constitution apparatus side in advance and reading it out successively from a central processor. CONSTITUTION:When a system generation is started in a central processor 2, the central processor 2 executes read-out with respect to the port sequence (A to F) of a high speed bus 1 by using a prepared instruction in order to obtain apparatus constituting information. Subsequently, based on the constituting information which is read out, the system generation peculiar to each computer system is executed. In such a way, at the time of generating a system, the constituting information can be obtained automatically in the central processor 2 without giving information from the outside, a designation mistake is not generated, and the system generation can be simplified remarkably.
