PURPOSE:To display the segment of a wake smoothly and accurately by displaying a planned wake set on a spherical body as the earth and the wake as a result of the operation of a ship graphically by using a display area and moving the display area freely. CONSTITUTION:An arithmetic part 1d converts the value of the planned wake on the surface of the earth and the longitude and latitude of information on the wake of the ship to the world coordinate system by using information from an input part 1a and an input operation part 1b and information stored in a storage part 1c to obtain display point coordinates, from which the segment coordinates between two points are obtained and displayed. In this case, arithmetic for clipping processing by the display area is carried out. A display part 3 enlarges the planned wake and the wake of the ship in the display area upon occassion according to the arithmetic result of the arithmetic part 1d, thereby displaying them graphically. |
