This invention concerns a connector with a contact element for the electrical connection of at least one insulated conductor. According to the invention the contact element of the connector comprises a contact plate 1 punched at one end which is folded in towards itself to form a slotted sprung part 6 in the form of an eye which is at least principally enclosed in such a way that the punched out part 2 forms an open slot 3, 4 through the plane of the contact plate 1 with sides sprung against each other in which a conductor 7 which is stripped of its insulation 8 can be passed and secured by means of the spring effect of the slotted sprung part 6. <IMAGE> |
