PURPOSE:To improve an output by forming a hollow in a combustion surface of a rotor and arranging maximum depth and width parts of the hollow in front of the rotor in its direction of rotation. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 1 forms in its combustion surface 4 a hollow 5, and its maximum depth and width parts are arranged dn the front of the rotor in its direction of rotation. Most of the new charge of air in an operating chamber is collected to the hollow 5 and ignited, but combustion is first started in the vicinity of the maximum depth part 6 forming high pressure gas. The high pressure gas, whose action point is positined in front of the rotor 1, is efficiently converted into a turning effect of the rotor 1. In this way, an output can be increased. |
