PURPOSE:To prevent the maldistribution of a packing material due to vibration and impact, to prevent the generation of dust from the packing material, and to obviate the contamination of a filter case by providing a partition projecting line and a packing material movement preventing body lower than the projecting line on the gas-permeable bottom of the filter case. CONSTITUTION:In the flat box-type filter case 1 having a gas-permeable bottom 2 reticulated by the grate 2a, the partition projecting lines 3 for separating the inside into plural sections are provided on the bottom 2 in the longitudinal and lateral directions, and the packing material movement preventing bodies 5a and 5b consisting of the projecting lines lower than the projecting line 3 are furnished in the shape of a grate in the longitudinal and lateral directions. A packing material 6 to be used as a filter element such as granular activated carbon is packed in the filter case 1, and the case is closed by a gas-permeable lid 7 through a cushion material 8. Consequently, the maldistribution of the packing material 6 due to its movement is prevented, the gas is not channeled through the gap between the packing materials 6, an increase in the pressure drop at the close-packed part of the packing material 6 is prevented, and excellent air cleaning efficiency is maintained. |
