PURPOSE: To analyze multi-component gas flow by emitting an electromagnetic wave radiation beam to a sample diluted after solid or liquid particles are removed, generating spectrum interference fringes, and detecting the peak. CONSTITUTION: After exhaust gas to be measured for the component and tracing gas to be introduced from an inlet 12 are mixed by a baffle plate 13, the mixed gas is collided with a main laminar flow element 14 in a tube 11. As a result, the back pressure of a main flow 18 is increased, and sample is collected from a sample collecting port 15 via a laminar flow element 17. The collected sample is diluted with dilute gas from an inlet 20, and sent to a cell 22. The cell 22 is emitted with infrared rays from a light source 22. The light emitted from the cell is branched to two parts by a unit 35, and further combined together to generate interference fringes. An optical signal generated from the fringes is detected by a detector 34, processed as prescribed by a processor 37, and the component is analyzed. |
