<p>PURPOSE:To collectively write information to a large quantity of IC cards by composing the unit of an external magnetic flux path formed to an approximately U-shape and having an opening into which the IC cards are to be inserted, a magnetic path adjusting means to adjust the opening length of the opening, and a coil wound around the external magnetic flux path. CONSTITUTION:After IC cards 100 to which the information is to be written are inserted into the opening of an external magnetic flux path 1, the IC cards 100 re fixed by a magnetic path adjusting means 2, the information stored in a memory 5 is modulated into a transmitting signal and further superimpose with a power transmitting AC signal, and a coil 3 is excited by a driver 4. Thereupon, a voltage change accompanying the change of magnetic flux occurs on flat coils 101 of all the IC cards 100 to interlink to the magnetic flux and is received as a transmission signal. This signal is separated into a power transmitting low frequency component and a data transmitting high frequency component by a driver/receiver 103. Further, the high frequency component as writing information is demodulated by a modem circuit 105 and written through CPU 106 to a nonvolatile memory 107.</p> |
