摘要

PURPOSE:To improve a liquid crystallization rate and writing characteristic by using a material consisting of the average compsn. expressed by the specific formula. CONSTITUTION:The material formed by adding Tl to the GeTe compd. having the average compsn. expressed by the formula I is used as the optical recording material which is used for an optical disk and generates a reversible optical characteristic change when the material is irradiated with laser light. The added Tl increases the rate of the change from an amorphous state to a crystal state by becoming the nuclueus of crystal growth or the bond terminator of an amorphous chain and enhances the absorption efficiency of laser irradiation energy by increasing the coefft. of absorption of the recording film.
