PURPOSE:To realize an optical bus type network where the number of connectable terminal equipments is increased by connecting plural terminal equipments to 1st and 2nd star couplers via a repeater so as to form a hierarchy structure. CONSTITUTION:The 1st optical star coupler 1 is connected to plural reproduction repeaters 2 reproducing and relaying optical signals or the like via transmission reception optical fiber lines 6, 7 respectively to attain the transmission reception of data between the 1st optical star coupler 1 and the reproduction repeater 2. Moreover, each reproduction repeater 2 is connected to the subsequent 2nd optical star coupler 3 by the transmission reception optical fiber lines 6, 7 to attain the transmission reception of data between each reproduction repeater 2 and the 2nd optical star coupler 3. Furthermore, the subsequent 2nd optical star coupler 3 is connected to plural terminal equipments 4a-4n by the transmission reception optical fiber lines 8, 7 to attain the transmission reception of data between the coupler 3 and the terminal equipment. |
