CASSETTE EJECTING ARRANGEMENT

The recorder has a main chassis on which is mounted a pair of tape spool capstans and tape drive spindles, together with magnetic heads, and contact rollers. Within the cassette chassis frame is cassette holder with a pivoted plate and a cassette loading stage. The outwards motion of the plate is limited by a stop. The loading unit has an opening through which the cassette is inserted and the pivoted plate is moved to provide location on the drive capstans. The ejector mechanism is coupled via a coil spring to a linkage. The ejector is actuated by the rotation of a rotor assembly coupled to the motor when the ejection selector is actuated.
