<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the pull-out work of an insulator and to allow anyone to perform this pull-out work by making it possible to do the pulling out by a mechanical means when test pieces of insulators are prepared. CONSTITUTION:First of all, a cable 80 is cut into pieces of 200mm long, and an insulator 81 is cut off by 30mm long from one end thereof to expose conductors 82. By operating fluid pressure cylinders 6 and 7 the insulator 81 of the cable 80 is enclosedly attached by enclosedly attaching grooves 16 and 17 for enclosedly attaching split bodies 48 and 49 are brought to come close each other through levers 46 and 47 and by pinchingly attaching grooves 54 and 55 the conductors 82 of the cable 80 are pinchingly attached. The conductor chuck device 3 in caused to move back and at the same time a chuck head 11 is rotated which encloses the insulator 81. The conductors 82 can be then removed from the insulator 81 and a tubular insulator 81 without deformation and damage, viz. a test piece, can be obtained.</p> |
