SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC DRY PLATE USED FOR TRANSFER OF IMAGE PATTERN

PURPOSE:To improve the adhesive property of the title dry plate and the fringe property of images by incorporating for example, a prescribed matting agent into the dry pate and specifying the surface roughness. CONSTITUTION:The photographic constituting layers contg. emulsion layers of silver iodobromide emulsions having <=8mol% silver iodide content and <=0.1mum average grain size are formed on a glass base (e.g. specular glass). The alkaline soluble type matting agent (e.g. fine particles of a methyl methacrylate/methacrylic acid copolymer) is added to >=1 layers of the photographic constituting layers to specify the surface roughness thereof to 0.3-3.0mum. The emulsions contg. >=50mol% silver chloride are preferably used. The adhesive property of the master patterns or photoresist and the dry plate is then improved and the fringe property of the image patterns is improved as well.
