Arrangement with a plate heat exchanger 1 of the cross- flow type, comprising at least one exchanger cell 14, 15 with throughflow ducts 29, 30 for incoming air and, respectively, outgoing air, and a shunt duct 16 for incoming air U to flow through past the exchanger cell under certain operating conditions. A pivotably mounted exchanger register 31, 32 is mounted about a pivoting axis 33 oriented at right angles to the plates 9 of the exchanger cell close to a corner edge 18 of the exchanger cell. The shunt duct 16 is connected to an inlet or outlet passage 38 with an inlet or, respectively, outlet opening located in a plane oriented parallel to said plates 9, and a shunt register is constituted by a register blade 34, 35 which is oriented at right angles to the exchanger register and joined to an edge portion of the latter and which, during pivoting of the exchanger register 31, 32, functions as a slide register relative to said inlet or outlet opening to the shunt duct. <IMAGE> |
