PURPOSE:To perform optimum warmup, and to eliminate the improper operations of a printing wire and a driving lever and contamination of a printing sheet by so conducting a driving coil as not to arrive at a printing in response to a temperature detected value before printing, and broadening an interval between a platen and the wire. CONSTITUTION:Temperature detecting means 1 detects temperature from the resistance value of a thermistor 8 disposed at an impact head 4. In this case, if the detected value is 10 deg.C or lower, a character generator 2 generates warmup data, and further outputs warmup data such as data, for example, at conducting width of 150musec and 100Hz, ten times to control means 3. Thus, a driving lever 6 and a printing wire 7 so operate in ranges as not to arrive at a printing to reduce the viscosities of ink and lubricant between the wire 7 and a wire guide 10 and lubricant between a driving lever 6 and a damper 13, and prints without printing dense or pale density of omission of dot for printing data. |
