PURPOSE:To decrease the degradation in density by toner filming and the generation of black spots by the generation of fogging by incorporating fine silicone resin powder having a prescribed grain size with a toner. CONSTITUTION:The title developer consists of the mixture composed of the toner and the fine silicon resin powder (A) having the grain size smaller than the average grain size of the toner. Further a fine powder polishing agent such as cerium oxide (B) is preferably added to this mixture. Particles polymerized by various polymn. methods, fine powder pulverized by a spray drying method, fine powder by mechanical grinding, etc., are usable for the component A and nearly the spherical fine powder is usable. The mechanically ground component B is usable as well. |
