PURPOSE:To enhance the sensitivity of the photosensitive body, to lower its residual potential and to enhance its durability by incorporating a specific charge generating material into the body. CONSTITUTION:The compd. expressed by the formula is incorporated as the charge generating layer into the photosensitive layer of the photosensitive body or the charge generating layer of the lamination type photosensitive body. This compd. is preferably the compd. having distinct X-ray diffraction peaks in 7.6 deg., 15.3 deg., 20.6 deg., 24.6 deg., 25.8 deg., 28.3 deg., 31.1 deg., and 32.1 deg. of the Bragg angle 2theta+ or -0.2 deg.) in the X-ray diffraction chart by CuKalpha rays. In the formula, R1, R2 denote alkyl, halogen, etc.; (a), (b) denote 0-5; a compd. of H, etc., are usable for both R1 and R2 as the compd. expressed by the formula. A hydrazone compd., etc., are preferably used for a charge transfer material. |
