PURPOSE:To permit insulating coating of a lead wire jointing section to be removed simply and inexpensively by pressing a chip heated to a gasified temperature to the insulating coating. CONSTITUTION:An exposed length S of a conductor 2-1 from which insulating coating 2-2 of a lead wire 2 is removed is pressed to a pedestal 13. Then, a chip heated to a gasified temperature of insulating coating 2-2 is pressed to the lead wire 2 at a specified pressure. The insulating coating 2-2 on the opposite side of the pressed surface of the heated chip 14-1 is evaporated by thermal decomposition, so that a part of the pedestal 13 is softened into which the abutted section of the lead wire 2 is partly embedded. When the heated chip 14-1 is moved and the lead wire 2 is separated from the pedestal 13, the insulating coating 2-2 partly embedded into the pedestal 13 is fusibly welded and left to the pedestal 13 side. Necessary length of conductors 2-1 can thereby by exposed to the end of the lead wire 2. |
