PURPOSE:To realize a complete waveform equalization, by using a waveform shaping circuit to remove unnecessary signal information from a video signal. CONSTITUTION:A waveform-equalized video signal S0 is obtained in an output terminal 9 of a waveform equalizer 100. In this signal S0, unnecessary signal information is multiplexed after the time of an information reference part of the signal S0 from the leading edge of the vertical synchronizing signal. In this case, unnecessary signal information is multiplexed in the first cut part of the vertical synchronizing signal. This signal S0 is supplied to the base of a transistor TR201 constituting a waveform shaping circuit 200. DC voltages B1 and B2 of a sink chip level and a pedestal level are supplied to bases of TRs 202 and 203 respectively, and control signals VC1-VC3 are supplied to bases of TRs 207-209. As the result, a video signal S'0 where unnecessary signal information of the signal S0 is removed and a cut is reproduced in a correct position is obtained in an output terminal 200a. |
