摘要

PURPOSE:To improve the sensitivity in high illumination in short time exposing of the photosensitive material and its pressure resistance and transporting characteristics by adding a specific ratio of a matting agent having a prescribed grain size into the backing layer of the photosensitive material contg. prescribed emulsions and specific compds. CONSTITUTION:The emulsion layers contg. an iridium salt (e.g. K3IrCl6) at 10<-6>-10<-9>mol per 1mol silver are provided to the title photosensitive material and the compd. expressed by formula I is added into these emulsion layers or other hydrophilic colloidal layers. The matting agent (e.g. polymethyl methacrylate) having >=5mum grain size is added at >=30vol.% to the backing layer of this photosensitive material. In formula, A denotes the unit derived from an ethylenic unsatd. monocarboxylic acid (salt); B denotes the unit derived from a multifunctional crosslinking agent; C denotes an ethylenic unsatd. monomer except A a B; X denotes 30-100mol%; Y, Z denotes 0-50%; the compd. expressed by formula II is usable as the component of the formula.
