PURPOSE:To suppress the generation of stains with lapse of time after a color development processing by incorporating one kind of a 5-pyrazolone magenta coupler having a specific coupling elimination group in a coupling position into the photosensitive material and incorporating a specific ratio of ammonium compd. into the processing liquid of the final bath. CONSTITUTION:At least one kind of the 5-pyrazolone magenta couplers having the coupling elimination group expressed by formula I in the coupling position are incorporated into the photosensitive material and 1.0X10<-3> to 1.0mol/l ammonium compd. is incorporated into the processing liquid of the final bath for rinsing and/or stabilizing processing. In formula I, L1, L3 denote a methine, ethylene group; (l), (m) denote 0 or 1; R1 denotes a hydrogen atom, alkyl group, etc.; R2 denotes a carbon atom, oxygen atom, etc.; A denotes a carbon atom or sulfur atom; (n) denotes 1 when A is a carbon atom and denotes 1 or 2 when A is a sulfur atom; B denotes a carbon atom, oxygen atom, etc.; X denotes an atom group necessary for forming a ring. The generation of the stains with lapse of time after the color development processing is suppressed in this way. |
