发明名称 RECEIVING SHEET FOR THERMAL TRANSFER RECORDING
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain recording improved in the transfer efficiency of ink and imparting transfer density proportional to an ink amount to be transferred by compounding polynorbornene particles with an ink receiving layer. CONSTITUTION:Polynorbornene particles are compounded with an ink receiving layer to form an ink receiving layer having high absorbing capacity and high absorbing velocity. Polynorbornene is obtained by synthesizing norbornene from ethylene and cyclopentadiene by Diels-Alder reaction and using norbornene as a monomer to perform ring opening polymerization. A pref. MW is 5,000-100,000. The particle size of the polynorbornene particles is generally 1-8mum and pref. 4mum or less and the content thereof is pref. 30-90% by wt. of the total solid of a composition. When the content is less than 30wt.%, ink absorbability is not enhanced and, when said content becomes more than 90wt.%, a binder is relatively reduced in quantity and the strength of a film is lowered.
