The crank drive (100) for drives of all kind including pedal cycles is controlled by swash plates and pendulum swings (5). A whole number translation from 1 : 2 is reached between the drive and output. The curved path on the swash plate of the drive is selected so that an even torque is produced after the translation. The circular motions of the drive and output conform and thus run without vibrations. The contour of the curved path is adjustable even during operation. USE - New type of crank drive for bicycle allowing any alteration of the path of movement. The bearing and contact points are permanently lubricated and maintenance free.
