PURPOSE:To operate a simplified lift only in the transportation of a specified truck and enable the insurance of safety by providing a control means enabling the operation of the simplified lift when the carrying in of a truck of a preliminarily set form is detected. CONSTITUTION:The slit 6 of a cage 1 is formed corresponding to the height of the axle 10 of a wheel 10 of a truck 8. When the truck 8 is situated in a determined position of the cage 1, or the deepest part seeing from the riding port 2, the axle 10 is inserted into the slit 6, and a switch in a switch box 7, for example, a microswitch, is turned ON. Hence, the control device within the switch box 7 judges that the truck 8 of a proper form is carried into a preliminarily set proper position, and makes the operation of a simplified lift from the outside possible. When the operation of the empty cage 1 is desired, a sensor for judging the presence of an object within the cage is provided separately, and it is preliminarily set so that the cage can be operated even if the specified truck 8 is not put thereon when the absence of the object is judged by the output of the sensor. |
