PURPOSE:To enhance the accuracy of discriminating a cooking finish point by a method wherein an exhaust duct is provided on the outside of a casing for an oven, and a humidity sensor is provided in the duct together with a sensor temperature regulating heater and a thermistor so as to control the humidity detection level of the sensor. CONSTITUTION:Steam-containing air generated from the food 5 in the oven 1 is taken into the exhaust duct 9 through an exhaust port 8, and the finish point of cooking is descriminated by detecting the humidity of the steam-containing air by the humidity sensor 10. In this case, the detection level for relative humidity is varied widely under the effect of the outside-air temperature. The effect of the outside air on the detection level is alleviated by correctly heating the interior of the duct 9 to a predetermined temperature. Accordingly, the detection level for the relative humidity is kept constant and the accuracy of discriminating the cooking finish point can be enhanced. |
