PURPOSE: To illuminate the interior regardless of the state of a sun visor by arranging a bar-like irradiating unit on the pivoted-side longitudinal side part of a rectangular plate pivoted to a body side in the longitudinal side part so as to be coaxial with the pivoting axial line. CONSTITUTION: A cavity or recessed part 3 of the form and dimension suitable to a bar-like lighting unit 4 is formed on the longitudinal side part 2 of a rectangular plate 1 consisting of a plastic molding having a reinforcing metal wire frame buried therein. The lighting unit 4 is formed of a flat bottom plate 5 firmly screwed to the ceiling of a vehicle in the top of a windbreak glass, a pair of U-shaped end pieces 6, 7 and an U-shaped profile 8 consisting of a transparent resin material. A lamp holder 9 is fixed to the bottom plate 5 within the U-shaped profile 8 to hold a plurality of tube lamps 10. Each end piece 6, 7 of the lighting unit 4 is supported on shafts 13, 14 provided on the plate 1 through bearings 11, 12. |
