A device for introducing additional gas streams to the intake duct of a carburettor engine uses two preparation devices connected in series one behind the other, each preparation device having mutually opposite slots through which the additional gas is introduced into the intake duct of the carburettor. The axis of the slots of the first preparation device and the axis of the slots of the second preparation device are mutually perpendicular in comparison to one another, preparation of condensate thus taking place over the whole circumference along the entire intake duct wall.
