<p>The platinum hydrides having a bridge bimetallic structure are represented by the general formula (I) wherein M is a metal with a valence n at least equal to 2, X is a halogen atom and P P is a schematic representation of a ligand having the general formula (II) wherein R1, R2, R5 and R6, which may be similar or different, are selected amongst the aliphatic or cycloaliphatic hydrocarbonaceous radicals having from 1 to 8 carbon atoms and the aromatic hydrocarbonaceous radicals having from 6 to 10 carbon atoms, R3 and R4, which may be similar or different, are selected amongst the hydrogen atom and the aliphatic hydrocarbonaceous radicals, having from 1 to 8 carbon atoms, optionally functionalized and/or forming together a cycle and, m is an integer higher than or equal to 4. Application of a platinum hydride as component of a catalytic system for the catalysis of a chemical reaction.</p> |
