PURPOSE:To prevent the pressure loss of gas and improve a working efficiency by a method wherein a grid is hammered by a hammering means to bring wires into contact with the inner peripheral surfaces of tubes by providing the wires with vibration through the grid and remove dust in the tubes. CONSTITUTION:Gas, supplied through a gas supplying port 18A, advances into the directions of arrow signs A in a diagram and is discharged out of a gas discharging port 20B after passing through tubes 16. Cooling air is supplied through an air supplying port 14B and is discharged out of an air discharging port 14A. When the gas passes through the tubes 16, dust, contained in the gas, adheres to the inner surface of the tubes 16. When the rod 24A of a grid 24 is hammered by a hammering member 22, the grid 24 moves downward and compresses springs 26, 26. The compressed springs 26, 26 are expanded and, thereafter, repeats expansion and contraction. Accordingly, the grid 24 is vibrated whereby buckling mode is induced in wires 28, 28 and the wires 28, 28 are brought into contact with the inner peripheral surfaces of the tubes 16. |
