PURPOSE:To improve long-term durability in high-temperature and high-humidity environments by using an ultraviolet-curing resin essentially comprising three kinds of specific compounds and having <50ppm hydrolytic chlorine in the chlorine contained in the resin to form a protective film. CONSTITUTION:The organic protective layer 6 is provided on the optical recording medium having a recording layer 4 on at least one side of a transparent substrate 1. The organic protective layer 6 comprises the ultraviolet-curing resin comprising essentially crosslinking oligomers, multi-radical acrylate and/or methacrylate and an initiator for photopolymerization, and having <50ppm hydrolytic chlorine in the chlorine contained. Thereby, the optical recording layer is prevented from deterioration even in high-temperature and high-humidity environments, which improves heat resistance and humidity resistance of the medium. |
