Retainers (201) holding the electric wires (600a,600b) are formed so that the retainers can be moved freely in the three-dimensional direction by a transfer unit (202). Accordingly, the coverings for the electric wires can be peeled off with the portions of the electric wires (600a, 600b) which are close to the cut end portions held by the retainers (201), and the expansion of the electric wires is suppressed to enable the covering removing accuracy to be improved. During a solderless terminal connecting operation, the positions of the cores (603a,603b) with respect to a solderless terminal connectors (400) can be regulated in accordance with the kind of the terminals in use. |
