In the case of a flexible electrical cable arrangement (1) for supplying power to loads in the low-voltage area, especially for the connection of halogen lamps in lighting systems, an elongated base body (2) consisting of insulating material is provided, in the case of which a plurality of retaining chambers, especially two, are provided longitudinally, which are open towards the outside of the base body (2) and are inserted into the cables (ribbon cable 5). In consequence, a cable arrangement can be created in which the supply lines (cables) are reliably protected against touching one another and hence against short circuits and using which an autonomous 12-volt power supply can be installed easily, for example for lighting systems in buildings of any type.
