<p>An enclosure (40U, 40L) is provided for a switch (10) having at least one extending terminal (46) with a first configuration engageable with an adaptor terminal (50) that converts the switch terminal to a second configuration for connection to an electrical lead. The enclosure includes at least one support block (40L) defining a switch cavity (42) for receiving at least a portion of the switch (10) and also defines an adaptor terminal cavity (70) for receiving at least a portion of the adaptor terminal with access provided for connection of the electrical lead. Rivets or other fasteners are provided for holding at least the switch and support block together. The support block (40L) further includes support surfaces (74) for engaging at least a portion of the adaptor terminal (50) to resist at least some of the force applied to the adaptor terminal (50) as the electrical lead is connected thereto.</p> |
