The invention relates to a collection container (2) for refuse, having at least two individual containers (4) releasably fixed on a common mounting (6). Preferably, six individual containers (4) are fixed on the mounting (6) in at least two mutually adjacent rows of, in each case, three individual containers (4) arranged one above the other. The collection container (2) according to the invention facilitates the sorting of refuse, so that certain materials such as glass, waste paper and metals can be taken for recycling. As a result, the burden on landfills and incinerators is reduced.
