PURPOSE:To facilitate an electrochemical reaction by generating a magnetic field in the direction where a fuel and oxigen gases pass. CONSTITUTION:A fuel cell adapted to generate an electric field in the direction where a fuel and oxygen gas pass, wherein an electromagnet 2 or a parmanent magnet 3 is fitted on the outer peripheries of anode fuel gas inlet duct 1 and cathode oxygen gas inlet duct of a fuel cell so that an magnetic field may be generated in the direction where respective gasses pass. It is thus possible to excite and activate gas molecules by the turbulent actions of magnetic field generated when gas passes through the magnetic field and thereby to facilitate an electrochemical reaction. |
