PURPOSE:To apply a predetermined rigidity in the axial direction of a track base by providing a side wall in a slide table of an NC machine or the like for regulating motion in the axial direction of a load roller to roll along its load rolling surface, and providing a means to press one side surface of the load roller in the axial direction and press the other side surface to this side wall. CONSTITUTION:When an oil pressure P is applied to an oil pocket 51, a brake plate 5 is pushed down by the oil pressure, and a pressure surface 52 formed in the brake plate 5 presses one side surface of a load roller 4a in its axial direction to apply the other side surface of the load roller 4a to a side wall 12 formed in a slide table 1. This makes friction force produced between the side surface of the load roller 4a and the pressure surface 52 or the side wall 12, and rolling resistance of the load roller 4a is increased, thereby a large slide resistance is applied when it slides on a track base 2 in the slide table 1. By applying a pressure to the oil pocket 51 of the brake plate, therefore, the slide resistance of the slide table 1 is increased, thereby axial rigidity of the track base 2 can be increased. |
