PURPOSE:To obtain the title compsn. providing a cured product having excellent heat resistance, mechanical strength, optical characteristics, etc., and being useful for a solventless varnish, a prepreg, a laminate, etc., by using a specified alicyclic epoxy compd. having an etherimide bond. CONSTITUTION:An alicyclic epoxy compd. of formula I or II (wherein X1 is a group of formula III-VI; R1-2 are each CH3 or CF3) having an etherimide bon and, if necessary, other epoxy compd. (e.g., a diglicidyl ether of bisphenol A), a curing agent (e.g., dicyandiamide, carboxylic acid anhydride, etc.), and a polymn. initiator (e.g., benzoyl peroxide) are blended together. |
